Melinda Prophet
Melinda Prophet is a licensed massage therapist practicing in Maine since 2002. She started her bodywork training at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona which gives her a great west coast massage style. There she worked with many skilled practitioners who specialized in reflexology, myotherapy, deep tissue, cranial sacral, internal organ work, breast therapy, lymphatic drainage and myofascial unwinding. Melinda has certifications for these different tools and uses techniques adaptively and thoughtfully with each client.
At this time Melinda is in her 3rd year with the University of Maine at Augusta working towards the ability to educate her community about the liver and lymphatic system. She is majoring in Biology and Communication. Melinda fills her time learning from many different philosophies that attempt to understand and describe our biodynamic experience. Melinda loves working with the human body, and she is honored to work with you as your massage therapist.
